Terms and conditions
These terms explain what Cordanda is, what you can expect from the platform and what is expected of those who use it. By creating an account or using Cordanda, you accept them.

This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
What Cordanda is
Cordanda is an online directory of outdoor outings and activities in Ecuador. It connects people looking for an activity with the people who organize it. Cordanda does not organize, operate, sell, book or charge for the published activities, nor does it act as a travel agency or tour operator.
The arrangement, payment, spots, changes and cancellations of an activity are a direct deal between the participant and the organizer, usually over WhatsApp.
Who operates Cordanda
Cordanda is an Ecuadorian project. You can write to us on WhatsApp at 099 549 4992 or through the channels on the Contact page.
Accounts
- You don't need an account to explore and contact an organizer.
- To create an account you must be 18 or older, provide truthful information and confirm your email.
- An account's email is how you sign in and it can't be changed. If you need to use a different one, create a new account and invite it to your profile's team.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account and for keeping your password private.
Organizers and listings
- Publishing and having an organizer profile is free.
- Whoever publishes is solely responsible for the activity: for the information being true and up to date, for delivering what was published, for the safety of participants and for holding the permits, licenses, insurance and registrations the law requires for their activity.
- Listings must follow the Publishing rules.
- By publishing photos and texts, you declare that you have the right to use them and you authorize Cordanda to show them on the platform to promote the activity while it is published.
Participants
- Before paying, confirm in writing with the organizer the date, meeting point, price, what's included and the cancellation terms.
- Outdoor activities carry their own risks (altitude, weather, terrain, water). Assess your physical condition and follow the organizer's instructions.
- Cordanda is not a party to the agreement between participant and organizer and cannot refund payments made to an organizer.
Verifications and badges
Badges indicate that we reviewed certain documents according to the Verification policy. They do not guarantee the quality, safety or outcome of an activity.
Featured listings
Featuring an activity is Cordanda's only paid service and it is optional. Its price, duration and removal are governed by the Featured listing terms.
Moderation
- Anyone can report an activity or a profile. We review every report; sending one does not remove the content automatically.
- We may pause or suspend listings, profiles or accounts that breach these terms or the Publishing rules, that are misleading or that put other people at risk.
Liability
We do our best to keep Cordanda working well, but the service is provided as is and may have interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, Cordanda is not liable for what happens on an activity, for the information organizers publish or for the agreements and payments between users.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. If the change is significant, we will announce it on the platform.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent judges of Ecuador.
